Castlemaine Safe Space Community Resources
Sometimes we need a little bit of extra help - and help is at hand
If you'd like to know where in the Shire you can get a cheap/free nutritious meal, free fruit and vegetables, sanitary products and toiletries, or free laundry service and access to a hot shower, access to a computer and charging portal, then take a look here: https://cch.org.au/help-at-hand-with-table/
PEER SUPPORT GROUP
The ELM (Every Life Matters) Peer Support Group meets monthly and is open to anyone who has been affected by the loss of another by suicide. The group is friendly and warm, and aims to provide a place for sharing, discussion, and hope, and to reduce social isolation and stigma around suicide.
The group is run by volunteers who have lost someone they love to suicide, and have been trained to help support others.
Please email or call if you would like more information or would like to chat beforehand,
